Twisted Sonett

When you went
You started a new life
But took mine with you

When you went
I thought you’d make me wise
But I lost my heart and mind

There is a wall of steel in the jungle of my being.
Interesting. Slowly.
It builds itself to a pyramid of Blackness and I stop managing to breathe.

Though I always can again.
Because if I couldn’t, I would find resolution.
And that would be too merciful for life.
My life. When you went.
